1984: Fords new Country Squire

The aero look was scheduled to strike the well established Ford Country Squire station wagon sometime in the fall of 1985. Scheduled to replace the midsize LTD wagon, the front drive family hauler was essentially a Taurus wagon. Will the yet unnamed Taurus sedans were offered with either a fuel injected 2.5 liter version of the HSC L4 used in the Tempo, or an optional 3.0 liter port injected V6, the wagon was expected to use the 6 exclusively.
