Lincoln’s Continental and Continental Mark VII V8 models were noteworthy for the addition of a new antilock braking system, which was standard equipment on various V8 designer editions of Continental and Mark VII, and standard equipment on all V8s sold in the five Pacific Western states (California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii).
