1985 Mercury Marquis Manufacturer Promo
The Marquis was back, with minor exterior trim changes, to differentiate them from 1984. While its cousin the LTD continued to have a greater variety of powertrain offerings, ranging from the 2.3-liter four to the 3.8 V-6 and popular 5.0 liter HO V#, Marquis models were only available with the four or V-6, and both brands limited to automatic transmissions. Body styles included 4-door sedans and wagons for both nameplates.
