21986: Yugo GV, Alfa Romeo Milano
Did you hear about the fella that walked into the auto parts store, and asked for a gas cap for his Yugo? The man behind the counter said, “that’s a fair exchange!”
My buddies neighbor had Yugo and we took it out once. I remember we were driving around with the high beams on and he turned on the rear defrost. It turned off the high beams. Our guess is that’s a failsafe to protect the alternator and R&R.
lol
I had two of these. I liked them very much as they were good commuters. One got totaled in an accident, the other I drove for two years and 30,000 miles. I sold the second one to a guy who drove it another two years before it was totaled in an accident. No real major mechanical issues with either car, just little annoyances. But, for the money, great value.
