Chevy trucks mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Target trucks 1987 was designed to help focus on the needs of many different buyers and help target sales presentations to their specific needs.
The core of this video program grouped buyers into four different categories. Work truck buyers are most interested in how Chevy pickup will stand up and help them perform a job. Recreational truck buyers off and want to know about a trucks 4-wheel drive or trailering capabilities, cargo hauler buyers are concerned with how well a Chevy Cargo hauler will help them handle a particular job. Personal use buyers are interested in comfort and convenience features and with a truck styling and appearance, ride, handling and general utility.
Buyers needs often cross over into other categories, but the idea behind Target trucks 1987 was to help you understand what features an individual buyer is most interested in.
