1987 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible Test Drive
The slow-moving Laser sport coupe had passed on, giving wide venue to the slippery Lebaron coupe and the sleek Lebaron convertible.Though still K-cars underneath, Chrysler’s new “J-body” 1987 LeBaron coupe and convertible were far more stylish, with handsome lines and neat hidden-headlamp noses. Ragtop sales were fairly scarce at 8025, but the coupe found a more than respectable 75,415 buyers. Prices ranged from $11,295 for the base coupe to just short of $14,000 for the soft top.
