1987: GMC gets hella flush

Truck buyers enjoy change, too. As mild as these upgrades appeared, the weren’t supposed to be implemented until the 1989 model year. The GMC Safari shown here was to sport a better looking composite headlight system, with the lights fitting flush in the grille. The S-15 Jimmy also was to receive a new front end. The foremost change was the quad ‘over and under’ light setup.
