I LIKE 1990-93 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD,SEVILLE STS AND LINCOLN TOWN CAR VERY SMOOTH LUXURY CAR

My parentals had three STS’s one with the 4.9L which had an amazing exhaust note, and two with the Northstars. The first and the last (98 I believe) were the best.

i wonder why did tese cars always had simulated, not real, wood inserts thorughout their interiors?

    • Jonathan Robinson says:

Real wood ages poorly. Lincoln offered real wood veneers in the bustleback Continental of the 80’s and it was prone to breaking off and chipping. It looked terrible after a short period. The only car I would want real wood in is a Bentley or Rolls Royce. I think fake wood is perfectly acceptable in a Lincoln or Cadillac.
