41988 Dodge Dynasy & Chrysler New Yorker Test Drive
Chrysler’s new 1988 C-body New Yorker was also offered as the Dodge Dynasty, thought with fewer standard luxuries in exchange for lower list prices. The upper rung dynasty LE stickered at $12,226, the base model at $11,666. Sales were so so at 55,550 with many bought by daily rent-a-car fleets.
My grandmother had a 92 Dynasty LE, with the 3.3 V6 and the 4 speed auto. Even though it might not be the greatest car around I loved the overall look of it and the interior trim.
to me,all of chrysler interiors of that day from k-cars to dakota all looked same L shaped and blocky!
Late 80s and early 90s Chrysler interiors looked pretty good IMO, particularly the Spirit ES & R/T, You know, the gray cloth, almost velour like seats? Love those seats.
I always liked those steering wheels. Idk why.
