Now that the bonnet was filled to the gunwales with the 225hp 5.2 liter V-8, the 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC was an eminently more appealing vehicle. The potent V-8 right out of the Mustang GT, was perfectly at home in the LSC. At 100 mph , it loped along at a leisurely 3000 rpm. The LSC’s self leveling air suspension was a willing partner at such velocities, as were the four wheel anti lock brakes.
