1988 Toyota Celica GT Convertible Test Drive

The Toyota Celica was a front drive 2+2 sport coupe that competed with VW Scirocco, Dodge Daytona, Nissan 200SX and Ford Probe. It was available as a 3-door liftback coupe in ST or GT versions and a convertible. In spite of its distinctive appearance and sophisticated editions, the Celica was never able to acquire a distinct sports car status which explained its drop in sales.
