1989: A GM coupe to rival Japanese?
Thought to be under consideration for th European and US markets, GM was planning a handsome new sport coupe to rival the best from Germany and Japan. Based on the Opel Vectra, this car was born out of the necessity to replace the Opel Manta, a good value for the money performance car in its time but was sorrowfully aged.
