31989 Cadillac Seville STS Test Drive
Perhaps these cars are just too logical to appeal to Cadillac buyers. Since their downsizing in 1986, sales have been nothing short of dismal. Cadillac face-lifted its two door stable mate the Eldorado last year. It has helped, but only a little. These two cars are built on the same platform with the same engine and transmission, which include the world’s only transversely mounted v8 engine, displacing 4.5 liters and producing 155hp, and a compact four speed automatic transmission. Although the Seville is a handsome up to date design, it has failed to excite the marketplace. It is too small and not opulent enough to appeal to old time Cadillac fans, while younger, more sophisticated buyers are attracted either by imports or the hugely successful high tech Lincoln Continental.
I Like 1989-93 Cadillac Seville STS Very Smooth Luxury Car
