1989 Chevrolet Cavalier Manufacturer Promo
This child of the Bowtie had more permutations than the alphabet, and as such, became very popular. In the model line-up for 1989: base Cavalier, RS (all models), Z24 (2-door coupe and convertible only) and the new entry level Cavalier VL coupe. Power ran from mild to exciting. Though Chevrolet sold thousands of beater Cavaliers for each one in Z24-trim, it strived to maintain a sporty image.
