1989 Ferrari Testarossa Test Drive

In a sea of pretty automotive faces, the Redhead stands out. Sweeping lines accented by fluted flanks, a voluptuous carriage and a torrid Italian soul convey what this vivacious, exciting, alluring lady, better known as the Testarossa, was all about. With a birthright that included tradition, romance and legend, not to mention such pedestrian traits as styling, performance, handling, craftsmanship and exclusivity, the Testarossa was the noblest Italian of them all, a patrician in the empire of the late Enzo Ferrari.
The Testarossa was a true exotic: Italian, distinctive, fast, exclusive. no other car looked like it. No other production built automobile wet as fast, in the min 180-mph range. An annual production run of about 1000-cars and a price tag of $140,000 ensured that only a fortunate few would ever own one. Or even drive one.
