1990 Canadian Chrysler Imperial Test Drive
The hallowed Imperial name lay dormant for seven years before its revival in 1990. based on the front wheel drive Dynasty/New Yorker, it got a five inch wheelbase stretch, a new 3.3 liter V6 and an ultradrive electronically controlled four speed automatic transmission. Base priced at $24,495, the small for its class but big on elegance Imperial made an interesting entry in the suddenly hot 1990 luxury car marketplace.
