1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Sedan V6 Test Drive

Oldsmobile added a four-door sedan version of the Cutlass Supreme as well as a drop-top conversion of the coupe to the range for 1990. A striking styling job was done to the sedan, its wraparound rear glass and neatly integrated tail treatment. Rear seat space was good, and there was a split, fold-down backrest for trunk access on some models. The standard engine for 1990 in Cutlass Supreme and I-series cars was the 180-bhp Quad 4 engine; the 160-bhp version was available in combination with a three-speed automatic in the standard Cutlass. The 3.1-liter V6 appeared in the SL-level cars or as an option in the standard and I-series cars.
