51991 Buick Park Avenue Manufacturer Promotional Video
Something old and something new was the the theme of this all new 1991 Buick. The company’s sales slid from over a million in 1985 to 566,000 for 1988 spurring new general manager Ed Mertz to look for answers. He turned to higher engineering quality and a re-emphasis of the “American car” image. The 205 inch log Buick was in the $25k range.

I drive a 1995 Park Avenue. It’s been in my possession for more than 13 years now. The best car I’ve ever owned. Stylish, reliable, powerful, luxurious, very comfortable and even economical. What more can one ask for?
Buick really had reliability nailed then!
