21991 Cadillac DeVille Test Drive
Abilities to stop and go were enhanced for the 1991 DeVille line. A Teves anti-lock braking system was now standard, and all DeVilles were treated to a bigger displacement 200-horsepower version of Cadillac’s transversely deployed aluminum allow V8. The latest bump up to 4.9 liters from 4.5 brings with it 20 additional horsepower and 30 more torques. Also new is the availability of Computer Command Ride, a hands off damping system that used several different inputs to determine which of three shock absorber rates was appropriate for the current driving condition. this resulted in a pillow soft around town ride and significantly more control at higher speeds and in ‘hard’ cornering.
A 200 hp V8! I love it!
Cadillac DeVille in 1990 wich 200hp and 8.5 0-60 is not BAD AT ALL!
