01992 Dodge Dakota Commercials
Following the 1991 face lifted Dakota, 1992 saw the discontinuation of the standard sealed beam design headlamps in favor of aerodynamic style molded plastic ones for all models. Dodge no longer offered a convertible version in 1992. In Chrysler’s paper ads, they tout that the Dodge Dakota “Out Powers Ford and Chevy hands down”, when compared to the Ford’s Ranger, and Chevy’s S-10, yet they continue on to say “comparing the Dodge Dakota V8 to other pickups is easy. There’s simply no comparison”. Some pretty interesting Marketing, if you ask me!
