01992 Mitsubishi Expo Commercial
The mini-minivan. The Expo line earned the title ‘Mini-minivan’ for blending compact van features in a subcompact wagon size. Two versions were offered, both with front or 4-wheel drive, both with transverse 4-cylinder engines mounted in their nose and both with a one piece lift gate hatch. The standard Expo came in base, SP and SP AWD models. It’s 177.4 inches long on a 107.1 inch wheelbase. Expo LRV for the “light recreation vehicle”, was 168.6 inches long on a 99.2 inch wheelbase and came in base, sport, and the sport AWD variants. Chrysler sold a lightly different version of the LRV as the 1992 replacement for the Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vista wagon.
