Starting off like a lion, the Toyota T100 came in like a lamb. Sales of compact pick ups made up for around 15% of the market twenty years ago, while full sized pickups covered 42%, which represented a significant market potential of more than one million vehicles. That is why Toyota carefully probed the market before going much further. It never really convinced too many people, especially because of its high price.
My mother had remember the Toyota T100 pickup truck commercial when she was in her senior year in high school. I love it!
