1993 Audi 90 S Test Drive
Designed to compete with the Lexus ES300, Acura Vigor and BMW 325i, the redesigned Audi 90 moved upscale in both luxury and performance. The familiar 5-cylinder Audi motor had been pushed aside and replaced with a 2.8-liter V-6 that made 172 horsepower. The 90S and CS models remained front wheel drive, while the CS Quattro used all-wheel drive. A drive-side airbag and for-wheel-disc brakes with anti-lock were standard.
