21993 Bentley Continental R & Brooklands Test Drive
Bentley went further to separate its range from that of Rolls-Royce with the introduction of the Continental R in 1991. This two-door coupe version of the Turbo R helped to rebuild the company’s image as a manufacturer of high-quality sporting vehicles. The name, too, conjured up memories of one of the greatest post-war grand touring Bentleys, the Continental R of 1953. Rolls-Royce offered no two door car in their own range.
Technically, Rolls did offer a 2-door car during the Continental R’s run. Of course, the roof powered back on the Corniche III and IV. But it still had only two doors.
As for this video…awesome! Thanks for posting!
