01993 Chevrolet Camaro V6 Test Drive
When it was unveiled in 1993, some thought many of its individual design licks were outrageous, especially the overstated side-view mirrors, the maximized windshield wipers and the deep well in the trunk. Redesigned for the first time in 11 years,Chevy camaro fans cheered at 1993s new fourth generation coupes. Chevy carried over many of the mechanical components from the third-generation Camaro, but improved its front suspension and gave the Z28 model a hefty 5.7-liter V-8 that brought back some of the muscle lost in the second- and third-generation Camaros. Camaro also paced the Indy 500 race for 1993.
