11993 Chevrolet Lumina Commercial
Chevy’s mid-sized Lumina, was available in two body styles, coupe and sedan, and four trim levels: Base, Euro, Euro 3.4 and Z34. For 1993 the old 2.5 Liter Four was replaced with the 2.2 Liter four, and an electronically controlled automatic transmission for the 3.1 liter V6. The best engine , though was the desirable 3.4 liter DOHC V-6. The Lumina also made clean air news with an alternative fuel version that ran on M85 (methanol) or unleaded gasoline and cut emissions 30-50 percent.
In hindsight I see this car as being pretty unique in its class, especially the curved rear end. I’m a big fan of the Z34 coupe too, it had a really long and low profile.
