1993: Chryslers Sailing Gets Smoother
It was hard to believe that by 1993 the third generation of this world-beating people mover was upon us, but the original Dodge Caravan (and stablemates Plymouth Voyager and Chrysler Town & Country) platform was model years old by 1996. The successor mini would not be the classic bread-box of yore, but instead it punched a neater aerodynamic hole in the air with design cues from the Epic concept vehicle. Rear doors would be present on both sides, and engines would be what they were.
