11993 Dodge Intrepid Commercial
Chrysler continued to put down its cards with aplomb and mastery in the early 1990’s, rare among its competitors. The LH series cars held an interesting market position.Their format and power train were intermediates while the interior and trunk space were full sized. The Intrepid replaced the Dynasty as its mid size contender. Safety was a big selling point for these cars, if you were in the back seat, as we all found out years later that with the cab-forward design did not hold up well in third party crash testing, airbags or not!
Not quite a home run,but sold pretty well regardless,in it’s first generation anyways.
