1993 Ford Ranger STX Test Drive
The compact Ranger pickups got a lot of good changes for 1993. The exterior was all new with a sleek, aerodynamic look. Interiors were significantly upgraded. A 3.0-liter V-6 replaced the old 2.9-liter V-6. There were a host of important mechanical improvements. All-in-all, the new Ranger was a dramatically better vehicle than before, with four trim levels, two cab sizes, three wheelbase lengths, and two cargo boxes.
