11993 Mitsubishi Mirage Test Drive
Car manufacturers succeed well with a little rabble rousing, but the Mitsubishi Mirage owes a good part of its success to meet public demand without a noisy, complicated introduction. Hatchbacks, so popular in the 70’s, ceased to be fashionable, even to this day. In 1993, roomy, practical sedans ruled. The Mirage and its captive imported twins from Plymouth and Dodge (both called ‘Colt’) had an immediate success. They are economical, pleasant to drive, practical and assuredly reliable. What more would you possibly want in an entry level vehicle?
