The powerful and compact VR6 narrow-angle 2.8-liter V-6 powerplant (178-horsepower) was introduced in mid-year 1992, so there weren’t many changes for 1993. The new Corrado SLC received restyled wheels and a CFC-free A/C system, but that was about all. Sport seats, anti-lock-brakes, and traction control were standard, but there was no airbag.
