1994 Acura Integra GSR 3-door Test Drive

Acura was intended to be Honda’s most sophisticated division from both mechanical and technical standpoints. To support this reputation, the Integra used four-cylinder engines whose cylinder displacement produced a high output. The standard engine was a 1.8-liter four cylinder with 142 horses, 12 more than the standard 2.2 liter on the Honda Accord. And, the company’s engineers were luring consumers with a VTEC version of the sam 1.8-liter engine. In this case, the output was 170 horses, which resulted in a very interesting weight/power ratio. This version could only be combined with a manual transmission.
