31994 Acura Integra GSR Test Drive
Driving gloves required.
The Integra was the most popular of the Acura range as well as the most affordable. The 1994 edition was totally redesigned and the power train refined at numerous points to offer a more homogeneous combination while maintaining the sporty character that made it successful.
This would have been such an awesome small relatively affordable sports sedan to have brand new. Unfortunately, by now the used GSR’s and GSR-wanna be’s have all been pretty much flogged to death by the hordes of irresponsible American teenager and 20-something tuners. Never was much a fan for the looks of the 3rd generation coupe, however the sedan is a distinct improvement in the aesthetics dept, the one glaring exception being those peculiar little round headlights. This was pretty much Honda’s high-water mark before the depressing slide into the Millennium, albeit w/ a few shining exceptions here and there.
agreed!
This was when Honda was innovating… Now they’re just sticking to the status quo boring IMO.
