The lowest-priced BMW models were first-class enthusiast cars with willing power plants, excellent interior design, and taut handling. The model nomenclature explained the engine size: the 318 models got a 1.8-liter four; the 325 version received a 2.5-liter six. The 325 Convertible was now available on the new 3-Series platform and joined the coupe and sedan version already in production. All 1994 models received a passenger side airbag, while the 325i and 325is featured a new front spoiler and optional traction control.
