01994 Ford Aspire Test Drive
If your automotive budget suggests sensibility over sportiness, check out this inexpensive little Ford. Built in Korea by Kia Motors, the front-drive Aspire completed with other ultra-econo entries such as the Geo Metro, Dodge Neon, and Toyota Tercel. Offered in two- or four-door hatchback body-styles, this runabout delivered a pleasant passenger environment, decent luggage space, and big-brag fuel economy numbers. But with only a 1.3-liter/63-horsepower four under-hood, you’re quickly left behind to eat Neon dust. The Aspire was among the lowest-priced cars in America with standard dual airbags.
