1994 Ford Motor Company Model Lineup Updates
Even though the 1994 model year started with a yawn in Dearborn, the pace promised to turn aerobic later in the year as Ford introduced a surprisingly pretty alternative to the econobox, the Aspire; the fiercest competition yet for Chrysler’s minivan crown, the Windstar; and the boldly redesigned Mustang.
It was no wonder that Wall Street had been whining about Ford’s short-term profits: The company socked more than $5 billion into its vehicle programs this year alone.
