31995 Mercury Mystique Test Drive
To replace the popular but boring Tempo/Topaz, Ford wiped the slate clean and moved into the first phase of its ambitious globalization program. With it, the Ford Contour and mercury Mystique were born.
Both compacts are based on a model that was created almost three years prior in Europe, marketed under the very apt name of Mondeo and immediately singled out as the “car of the Year” once it made its entrance on the scene. With this solid background, a North American career began in 1995.
“[Tempo and Topaz]…it was a good car…”
Bwhahahahaha!
tempo and topaz was good compared to taurus and sable
