1996 Acura RL Test Drive

Acura’s top of the line sedan the RL, was roomier and plusher than the Legend it replaced. Its brand of luxury, though, differed from notably from the competition. The RL was not a warmed over Legend but a totally new car, both in concept and design. It came only as a sedan. Against its luxury import competition, the RL’s front wheel drive put it at a disadvantage. You had to takea good long look at the Acura RL, not only because Honda couldn’t be ignored, but also because it may not have had the luxury touches you wanted.
