21997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Test Drive
1997 was the year it was time to start treating the Grand Prix with a little respect. Actually, make that a lot of respect. In addition to a new, far more rigid unibody with a 3.0 inch wheelbase stretch and more interior room, completely reworked suspension and steering, beautiful new styling inside and out, and the deletion of the old four cylinder base engine. Pontiac did something more. It gave the Grand Prix real firepower. On top of the perfectly adequate 3.1 liter V6 as the new base engine, there was a pari of 3.8 liter upgrades. the first netted you 195 horse swat on the hiney with the press of the accelerator, the second slammed you with 240 supercharged horses. You had to respect that.
Amazing this pontiac grand prix sharp
