11998 Cadillac DeVille Concours Test Drive
The DeVille, the largest Cadillac for 1998, was one of the biggest front-wheel-drive cars on the road. Clearly, it was a full-size luxury car in the Detroit tradition.
The 4-door DeVille came in three trim levels, the base model, the d’Elegance, and sportier, more potent Concours. Optional automatic stability control helped you recover from minor skids, and the optional satellite communications system let you summon help in an emergency. Less-powerful air bags, new for 98 were a response to customer concerns. This DeVille continued the tradition of the big Caddies of yesterday.
