1998 brought Chevrolet Blazer onto the sport utility bandwagon with new found ambition. A new front end treatment, more aggressively styled whees, more detailed standard equipment and, at long last, a second air bag for the passenger side were a few of its new features. To get you even more excited, some GM executives said that they were toying with the possibility of putting an eight cylinder engine under the hood. The promise wasn’t kept, but by the way of apology Chevrolet was bringing the trailblazer version and its autotrac system. Apology accepted?
