1999 Mazda MX5 Miata 10th Anniversary Edition Test Drive
America’s favorite retro-roadster, the MX-5 Miata, was redesigned for 1999. It sported a more rigid and muscular body without sacrificing its miata–ness, and its horsepower was up seven to 140. WIth more precise handling, a flat luggage floor and a heated glass rear window, the venerable Miata roadster had few peers, contemporary or otherwise, that were as nimble and evoked such enormous bug-eating grins.
