2000 Mazda B4000 Troy Lee Edition Test Drive

A mechanical clone of Ford’s Ranger compact pickup, the Mazda B-Series wore an impot badge, but was built right here in America with the Ranger. A wide variety of available equipment held three different powerplant options from a modest 2.5-liter/119-horsepower inline-four to a 4.0-liter/160-horsepower V-6. SX and SE trim levels could be had with all engines, while the up-level Troy Lee edition was reserved for the B3000 and B4000. The most popular model was the Cab Plus 4 that featured a four-door extended cab. Regular and two-door Cab Plus models were also available. Modest upgrades for 2000 made fog lamps standard on all 4WD models and air conditioning standard with SE and Troy Lee trim.
