For 2001, Chrysler revamped its entire family of Sebring’s, which now included a sedan – the former Chrysler Cirrus. For the Sebring sedan and convertible, the 200-horsepower, 2.7-liter V-6 from the LH cars was the new top engine; new Sheetmetal mimicked the Concorde’s front end; four-wheel disc brakes were now fitted; and the interior was upgraded. The Sebring coupe (again based on the Mitsubishi Eclipse) now used a 142-bhp, 2.4-liter four or a 200-bhp, 3.0-liter V-6; a manual transmission was available with either engine.
