42001 GMC Terracross Concept Car
The imposing Terracross was actually a foot shorter than the Jimmy and Envoy but was considerably wider and perched on a longer wheelbase. Like the Buick Rendezvous and the Pontiac Aztek, the Terracross was a unibody vehicle with a transverse mounted 3.4 liter V6 and versatrak AWD. The B-pillar-less body and sliding rear doors eased interior access. The roof featured three sliding glass panels; any two could be opened at one time. When he rear most pane was open, tall items could be carried in he cargo area; in that instance, a mid-gate and retractable window incorporated into the rear seatbacks kept the interior weather-tight.
