02001 Honda Civic EX Coupe Test Drive
Since its introduction in 1973, the Honda Civic has become an icon in the Honda lineup. For 2001, the 7th generation Civic continued that tradition.
The 01′ Civic was available as a 4-door sedan or a 2-door coupe. Both models were offered in DX, LX and EX trim levels. The entry level DX came equipped with a 115hp engine, 5-speed manual transmission and a radio The volume leading LX trim was added to the coupe for the 2001 model year. The LX used the same powertrain as the DX but added mainstream features, including air conditioning, power windows and locks, cruise control and a better radio. The top of the line EX model featured the 127hp VTEC engine along with such features as anti-lock rakes, moonroof, 15 inch wheels and a CD player.
