2001 Hyundai XG300 Test Drive
Leading the way, and continuing its upmarket aspirations, Hyundai added the XG300 to its U.S. lineup for 2001. Called the Grandeur in Korea, this bigger-than-Sonata sedan was aimed at the upper end of the mid-size market and was touted as a more affordable alternative to the Toyota Avalon A 192-hp, 3.0-liter V-6 powered the front wheels through a five speed manumatic transmission.
