In January 2002, Bently introduced the incredible Arnage. It was powered by the traditional overhead-valve Bentley V-8, but twin turbocharging boosted output to 450 HP and an incredible 645 lb-ft of torque, sufficient indeed to produce startling performance in a car weighing nearly three tons and with every luxury known to the English-speaking world. It was joined as promised, by two more models: the Arnage R, the twin-turbo V-8 with “only” 400 hp and the Arnage RL with the same engine but 10 inches more wheelbase for more rear seat legroom and “enhanced standard equipment.”
