2003 Cadillac CTS Test Drive
The dramatically styled midsize CTS replaced the Catera as Cadillac’s new entry level sedan or 2003. Cadillac benchmarked the BMW 5 Series while refining the CTS clean sheet Sigma platform on Germany’s Nürburgring racing circuit. A new 3.2L DOHC V-6 sent 220 hp to the rear wheels via a five speed manual or five speed automatic transmission. Fitted with leather, wood, OnStar, and a total of six airbags, the sporty CTS interior could be further upgraded with option packages.
