2003 Chevrolet Silverado Quadrasteer Test Drive
In 1999, the face of Silverado changed. For 2003, there was a new look in what must have been a record turnaround time for a pickup, and it came with other improvements. Quadrasteer four-wheel steering, introduced in mid-2002, was available in more models. It improved low speed maneuverability dramatically, reducing Silverado’s turning diameter from 49 ft to 37, almost as tight as a Blazer’s.
